Chrystal Cuellar is a sober, Christian Life Coach who helps women ditch alcohol and become a warrior of Christ. Going through her own journey of sobriety and finding Christ again, led her to where she is today. Before letting go of alcohol she was a huge binge drinker, in a very toxic relationship, and without a relationship with Christ.
Chrystal talks about codependency in relationships as an addict as well as finding her way out of negative thinking patterns and the lies she told herself (for example: “I’m not good enough”.)
Reminding ourselves that while we may feel a certain way about ourselves, feelings are not facts. We must learn how to change the negative thoughts if they are not true, and accept them if they are.
Chrystal and I also talk about the importance of finding a spiritual connection outside ourselves. Having a relationship with Jesus is not necessarily the same as practicing a man-made religion. It's more about following God and letting God heal us as opposed to following and depending on people (in the church).
Chrystal is running a 4 week program right now called Sober And Free. Check out the link for more information.

Oh, and by the way, if you didn’t know, my program Sober Freedom Transformation is now open! It is for women who have been sober for a year to many and are ready to discover who they want to be in long term sobreity, develop confidence and improve their relationships.
If you aren't part of the Confident Sober Women Facebook group, it's a great place to be. There are over a thousand other sober women there building lives they don't want to escape from. Come on over and join us.
And if you haven't read my memoir, grab a copy today and maybe a second one for a friend. There is so much hope in recovery, and I shared my story so raw and vulnerably so that others would know they aren't alone and that there is a way to live well, manage relationships, parent your kids, and have a healthy body, all while staying sober. Grab a copy of Recovering in Recovery: The Life-Changing Joy of Sobriety wherever books are sold.
