Confident Sober Women

Early Morning Wake Up To A Flooded Basement & The Missing Episode

Shelby Episode 147

Have you ever been embarrassed to share a mistake you made so you just tried to cover it up?

Today I share with you what happened last week, and how I woke up to a flooded basement.

It has been a bit of a time lately with a lot of cleaning, moving things, getting estimates, and my daughters coming home from college. Thankfully I have the tools today to take care of myself in long-term sobriety. Instead of spiraling into an emotional hot mess, I jumped into solution mode.

That is the transformation that happens when you work on your emotional sobriety to take your life from good to AMAZING and thrive in long-term sobriety.

There is so much hope in recovery, and I shared my story so raw and vulnerable so that others would know they aren't alone and that there is a way to live well, manage relationships, parent your kids, and have a healthy body, all while staying sober.
