I love talking to other sober women. The hope and opportunity that gets shared right through the microphone is so powerful.  And Jennifer is no different.

Her story is filled with childhood trauma, addiction, motherhood and freedom.  We met on a Facebook live together and her story was so good I wanted to share it here as well.

We discussed quite a bit about negative thinking patterns and the tools she used to squash them. Oh and don’t’ forget to check out the Understanding Negative Thoughts Challenge in the Guides section of the Confident Sober Women Facebook group. It is a free 5 day challenge that will bring so much to light for you in changing your mindset and building confidence beyond recovery.

Jennifer Borden is also a member of the Confident Sober Women Facebook group so if you have any questions for her or want to connect you can find her in there. Thanks for being with us.

If you like what you are hearing can you please let a review so that other sober women can find us! It really does help.

Oh, and by the way, if you didn’t know, my program Sober Freedom Transformation is now open! It is for women who have been sober for a year to many and are ready to discover who they want to be in long term sobreity, develop confidence and improve their relationships.

If you aren't part of the Confident Sober Women Facebook group, it's a great place to be. There are over a thousand other sober women there building lives they don't want to escape from. Come on over and join us.

And if you haven't read my memoir, grab a copy today and maybe a second one for a friend. There is so much hope in recovery, and I shared my story so raw and vulnerably so that others would know they aren't alone and that there is a way to live well, manage relationships, parent your kids, and have a healthy body, all while staying sober. Grab a copy of Recovering in Recovery: The Life-Changing Joy of Sobriety wherever books are sold.
