Confident Sober Women

The Purpose Of Your Life Through Intuition In Long-Term Sobriety w/Chrissy Janiga

Shelby Episode 173

Chrissy found drinking to be problematic in her 30s. She shared how sometimes things would go ok and that prevented her from understanding her problem with alcohol.

Chrissy’s mission is to teach people how to understand their intuition and listen to their bodies. She shares how this is critical in understanding not only the thoughts and feelings we have but why are we having them. She didn’t use a specific recovery program but did layer on a lot of support and resources related to sobriety after trying to do it all by herself.

Our bodies know what we need to do but it’s our brains that tell us we don’t know. She learned that support is critical to help to highlight the things we are not aware of related to long-term recovery.

Chrissy started to work on the myths that she believed sobriety was doing for her. She found out she wasn’t satisfied with her life and the limiting beliefs that were preventing her progress.

Chrissy and I talk about the trauma response of people pleasing and how it impacts so many women. It wasn’t clear to her when she was drinking. Sobriety has given her the clarity to create her future self and understand her value and worth.

Towards the end, Chrissy shared some practical ways she believes you can start to get in touch with your own purpose and intuition. You can literally start doing these things today.  The inner work never stops for us, we are all under construction and are always growing and changing.

Chrissy Janiga is a wife, mom, author, social worker, and coach who lives in Florida. She’s passionate about helping women remove alcohol, step into their purpose, and manifest their deepest desires.
